So today Emily and I turned 2 and we celebrated this past weekend by heading out of town for a few days.  I booked us a couple nights at this great little place in Guernville, CA which is right on Russian River and stones throw from Healdsburg where our favorite wine is made. On Saturday we headed over to J Wine for a tasting and returned on Sunday for a reservation at the Bubble Room. The meal was incredible and each item was paired specifically with a wine. There was a white flight (emily’s) and a pinot flight (mine) both were delicious….see below.
I threw in a couple of my favorite shots that Em took of the weekend, the first one is right on the coast in a place called Jenner. The second one is at our lodge by the pool, something about it really makes me laugh.  She’s talented.
